The Pure Puff ft. BabeBoxx October 2015

If you've read any of my seasonal posts, you know fall is my favorite season.  And right now, it happens to be my favorite time of the month.  Beauty box time!  So what happens when two of my favorite things collide?  This:

The ultimate fall beauty box arrived on my doorstep.  October's BabeBoxx is here, welcoming fall in all its glory.  Sweet, decadent smells and quality, natural products you can indulge in.  I practically jumped for joy when I saw what was included this month!  Let's have a closer look at the products!

FlutterFly Scrubs - Pumpkin Cupcake ($9)

Talk about indulgence!  FlutterFly Scrubs' Instagram has been making my mouth water with all their newly released fall scents.  Hot Cocoa and Pumpkin Cupcake were the two I had my eye on, so seeing this scrub included this month got me really excited!  FlutterFly Scrubs not only exfoliate incredibly well but they leave your skin feeling super smooth and sweet smelling.  Their scents are true to their name, so no matter what scent you choose, you are in for a treat.  I have two other scents, Strawberry Shortcake and French Vanilla Pear and they are amazing!  I use these scrubs both in and out of the shower.  When I use them in the shower (yes, be careful, they contain natural oils) I put a bit in a separate container so excess water doesn't get in the jar.  The jar itself is plastic so you could definitely travel with these sweet-smelling treats.  They would also make FABULOUS holiday gifts!

Palate Polish ($10)

I believe colors may vary between boxes for this item, but I got this beautiful polish in Peach Treats.  I LOVE this shade.  I wear neutrals all year round so I adore these type of colors.  These polishes are 5 free and vegan.  For a fun twist, each color name is inspired by a food.  Some of the names I loved in the collection are Blueberry Cobbler, Lavender Macaron, and Mint Frosting.  On their Etsy site, Palate Polish posts swatches so you can see all the colors applied with two coats.  I love seeing swatches of nail polish like that.  It makes "window shopping" much more fun!  At a glance, Peach Treats is the color that drew me in first so I'm really excited I got this color in my BabeBoxx.  They read my mind, I swear!  PS I am currently wearing this on my nails and it is stunning... a very feminine, romantic shade.  Love.

Sinfully Organic - Body Caramel ($20)

When I saw the name of this product, I was immediately intrigued.  This multi-purpose, solid balm warms with the touch of your fingers and melts into the skin.  It can be used on scars, stretch marks, troublesome skin irritation such as eczema, or as a moisturizer for dry skin.  Packed with natural ingredients such as mango butter (my favorite!), shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil, this balm will keep your skin nourished throughout the cold months of fall and winter.  You can keep this handy balm with you no matter where you go because the tin is really sturdy.  It's great for in your purse or traveling to visit family for the holidays.  The packaging says this balm smells naturally of chocolate creme brulee.  To me it smells like cocoa - warm, a little sweet and very rich - a universally appealing scent I think.  It's a very comforting smell and formula, perfect for this time of year!

Zabana Essentials Clay Facial Blemish Drying Lotion ($12.95)

Ok, no one wants to talk about it, but whose skin is perfect 24/7?  Not mine!  After years of trying drugstore products for my troublesome skin, I looked to natural solutions such as tea tree oil to help my skin.  It smelled awful!  Fast forward to when I found out I was pregnant and I was very limited to the products I could use on my skin.  If only I knew about Zabana Essentials, I definitely would have tried this product!  This drying lotion contains green clay and witch hazel (something I've used on my skin for years).  The smell is actually very refreshing!  I was ready to cringe when I opened the bottle to smell it but I really like the scent of this product.  To use, you simply dip a cotton swab into the product and apply to the affected area.  You can let it sit and work its magic for a few hours, or overnight.  On the days I don't wear makeup, I tend to notice unwelcome visitors on my skin so that would be the ideal time to treat my skin with this lotion.  I feel strange saying I'm excited to use this product because I don't "want" my skin to break out.  But if it does, I know I have a natural solution!

If these products haven't piqued your interest in BabeBoxx, I don't know what will!  Each month BabeBoxx sends a selection of cruelty-free, natural, organic, and chemical-free products right to your door.  Subscriptions are $24.99/mo with free shipping in the U.S.  You can choose from a month to month, three month or six month subscription.  Act quickly though, because lately these beauties have sold out!  Find out more at:
