Boxycharm September 2015

As the fall season approaches I look forward to the cool breeze, hoodies, tall boots and of course, a whole new array of beauty products.  Skincare, haircare, nails, makeup - all things that transition to accommodate the new season.  Boxycharm's theme this month is Runway Ready.  While I won't be walking down any runways, I will definitely be styling this fall with the great selection of products in this month's box!  Let's dig in.

Previse Skincare HydroMilk Hydrating Lotion ($48)

This lotion will be the perfect item to keep my skin in check as the air gets cooler and drier. This moisturizer features hyaluronic acid which is a major selling point for me personally.  There are no pore-clogging ingredients which is also an attraction for me because my skin is still prone to breakouts.  Boxycharm has featured a Previse serum in a past box so I'm really excited to be enjoying yet another one of their products!

Vasanti Professional Foundation Brush ($32)

We received a Vasanti Blush Brush in a previous box so I was thrilled to see another one of these brushes in this box to add to my collection.  I don't typically use this style brush to apply my foundation, BUT I have been wanting to get a brush like this to apply my ever-growing collection of face masks.  I use detoxifying masks and hydrating masks this time of year in particular so I'll be getting a lot of use out of this brush.  It is soft and great quality so I'm already a fan.  It seems that once again, Boxycharm has read my mind.

tarte smolderEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner ($22)

As I gawked over the sneak peeks for this month, I fell in love with this particular liner.  Of the two options (the other is the skinny liner) I had my heart set on this style.  Something about these wider, liner/crayon styles has really appealed to me lately.  To top it off, I got it in a rich, chocolatey brown (colors vary) which has my name all over it.  I like a black liner as well, don't get me wrong.  But for a day-to-day versatile liner, I much prefer brown.  This matte brown liner stays put and looks gorgeous all day long.  The convenient smudger-end blends the liner perfectly for a softer, smokey look.  I see this item getting a lot of love in the coming months!

Chella Eyebrow Defining Gel ($18)

  Once again, Boxycharm read my mind.  I just finished a clear mascara I had been using occasionally as a brow gel (not the best formula I have to say) and now I have a true, clear brow gel!  I haven't delved into tinted brow gels so I love that they included a clear formula to suit any hair color.  I really like the brush and the consistency of this gel.  It gets the job done without being too heavy.  Love this one!

SCRATCH Nail Wraps ($12)

I've received nail wraps in other beauty subscriptions before but the patterns were a bit too childish for me to even want to try them.  This pattern, I love!  A neutral mix of white and gold is a sleek combination I will definitely enjoy.  I've honestly never applied nail wraps so this is a great way to try it.  I can't wait to see how long this type of product lasts on my nails.

Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil (Bonus item! ~$2.75)

Talk about a surprise... a sixth bonus item!  I've never tried anything from the Kardashian Beauty line... makeup or otherwise.  Like the Kardashians, I also happen to be Armenian, but the connection stops there. (ha)  In terms of the formula, I do have a couple other beauty items that contain black seed oil so this isn't an unfamiliar ingredient to me.  This light weight, fast-absorbing oil provides nourishment and shine so it will be great for my hair since I just dyed it.  Thank you, Boxycharm!

Value = over $130
I'm so excited about every item in this month's box... Boxycharm is getting better and better!
