Ipsy June 2015

I love the last part of the month because it means it's beauty subscription time!  If you read last month's Ipsy post, you know that I was subscribed way back when they first started.  In an effort to explore other beauty subscriptions I had cancelled, then decided to subscribe again,  cancelled again, etc.  Let's just say Ipsy never held my interest for an extended time.  So will they stay on The Beauty Puff?  Hmmm... let's see!

ipsy june 2015- the beauty puff

This month's theme was Swim Into Beauty.  The bag is really great - a simple black neoprene with a neon zipper.  On one side "ipsy" is embossed but the other side is blank.  It's very subtle which I like!  The bag is probably one of the best quality ones I've seen from Ipsy.  A+ for that!  Now, on to the products!

Ofra Cosmetics Turquoise Eyeliner
This brand has been featured by Boxycharm in the past and I really like the quality and color pigmentation of what I own.  I'm excited to use this liner for a pop of color this summer!

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
I personally prefer the light version of this primer.  I have received this size sample for free with purchases so I am not thrilled with this item to be completely honest.

Lavanila Laboratories The Healthy Body Butter in Pure Vanilla
I LOVE the smell of this lotion.  Sweet scents are my favorite but this is a very "fresh" vanilla scent.  Also I think it's great they included a product that has all natural ingredients.  It is that kind of product I want to see more of!

Formula X Nail Color in Power Source
I have never tried this nail polish from Sephora before so I was excited to get a sample in this bag!  The formula and coverage are awesome (I'm wearing it as we speak).  The formula is 3 free and contains no parabens, sulfates or phthalates.

TreStique Mini Shadow Crayon in Kona Coffee
This was probably my favorite item in the Ipsy bag this month.  At first look I honestly thought, oh no, there's no cap!  (hahaha)  But the cap LOOKS like an open eyeliner.  Very creative!  Inside the shadow stick is thicker than I anticipated but I've made it work on my lower lashline.  It twists up and the color stays put so I love this one!

So will I continue to get Ipsy each month?  Well, in an effort to feature a variety of beauty products and discover more natural brands, I have found another beauty subscription I will be featuring.  I am REALLY excited about it.  You will just have to wait and see!
